7 - 14 days at 15 °C, in media with low soluble salt levels and pH: 5.8 - 6.5. Before sowing treat substrate with fungicide against Fusarium. Don't cover seeds. Requires light for germination. Consistent moisture of the substrate and high humidity (above 95 %) for fast, uniform germination. Avoid direct sunlight by shading seeds after sowing.
